Michael Gruenloh is a founding member of the Gruenloh Law Firm where he handles all types of cases, including serious injury and death cases, business negotiation and litigation and insurance bad faith. He has litigated hundreds of complex business and wrongful death cases in a dozen different states. Mr. Gruenloh has tried cases against some of the largest defense firms in the country and has won millions of dollars in compensation for his clients.
Mr. Gruenloh began his legal career at Motley Rice, one of the preeminent plaintiff-oriented law firms in the country, where he represented the Attorneys General from 30 different states in the historic tobacco lawsuits. In addition, Mr. Gruenloh has represented many small businesses, non-profits, unions, and entrepreneurs including the MUSC Faculty Senate, Innovative Resources Management, The Coastal Conservation League, and The New York Port Authority.
Mr. Gruenloh lives with his wife and two children in the Hampton Park area where he is very active in the local community. He has served on the boards of numerous charitable organizations and is a current board member of Habitat for Humanity. Mr. Gruenloh is an avid proponent of pedestrian rights and is a supporter of and sometimes counsel to PetHelpers and The Low Country Autism Foundation.
